Jwell
Jwell PC (Polycarbonate) or PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) corrugated sheet extrusion line is a specialized manufacturing set up designed to produce corrugated sheets from polycarbonate or PET resins. Adding with co-extruded anti-UV layer, PC corrugated board has good characteristics of weather resistance, impact resistance, high light transmittance and ultraviolet rays isolation. These sheets are known for their excellent impact resistance, transparency, and durability, making them suitable for various applications such as roofing, skylights, greenhouses, industrial cladding, ceilings and walls of agricultural greenhouses, breeding green houses, sports halls, stations and other buildings. China Jwell Intelligent Machinery can customize wave shape for customers.
1. Raw Material Feeding System:
- Hopper and Feeder: PC or PET resin pellets are loaded into a hopper. A precise feeder ensures consistent material flow into the extrusion line.
2. Drying System:
- Dehumidifying Dryer: PC and PET materials are hygroscopic and require proper drying before extrusion to avoid moisture-related defects. The dryer removes moisture from the pellets, ensuring high-quality output.
3. Extruder:
- Screw and Barrel: The extruder melts and mixes the PC or PET pellets. The design of the screw and barrel is optimized for homogenizing the material.
- Temperature Control: Precise temperature management is essential to maintain the correct melting and flow properties of the resin.
4. Extrusion Die:
- Sheet Die: The molten material is shaped into a flat sheet as it exits the extruder. The die ensures uniform thickness and width across the sheet.
5. Calibration and Forming System:
- Calibration Table: The extruded sheet passes through a series of calibration rollers that set the initial thickness and smoothness of the sheet.
- Corrugation Unit: The flat sheet is passed through forming rollers or molds that impart the corrugated shape. This section is crucial for creating the characteristic wave-like structure of the sheet.
6. Cooling System:
- Cooling Rollers or Baths: After forming, the corrugated sheet needs to be cooled to solidify the shape. Cooling is controlled to ensure the sheet retains its corrugated structure without warping.
7. Haul-Off Unit:
- This unit pulls the sheet through the line at a consistent speed, ensuring proper tension and alignment, which is critical for maintaining the quality of the corrugated pattern.
8. Cutting and Trimming:
- Cutting Unit: The continuous corrugated sheet is cut to the desired lengths. Rotary cutters, guillotine cutters, or saws can be used for this purpose.
- Trimming Unit: Ensures that the edges of the sheets are smooth and meet dimensional specifications.
9. Stacking and Packing:
- Stacking Unit: Automatically stacks the cut sheets for easy handling and packaging.
- Packing Unit: Prepares the stacked sheets for transport, often involving wrapping or banding.
10. Control System:
- A centralized control system monitors and regulates the entire process, ensuring synchronization between different components, maintaining process parameters, and ensuring product quality.
- High Impact Resistance: PC sheets are particularly known for their high impact strength, making them suitable for applications where durability is essential.
- Transparency and Light Transmission: Both PC and PET sheets offer excellent light transmission, making them ideal for applications requiring natural lighting.
- Weather Resistance: These materials provide good resistance to UV radiation and weathering, ensuring long-term performance in outdoor applications.
- Lightweight: Easier to handle and install compared to traditional materials like glass.
- Thermal Insulation: PC sheets offer better thermal insulation properties, beneficial for greenhouse and roofing applications.
- Roofing and Skylights: Used in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings for natural light provision and weather protection.
- Greenhouses: Ideal for agricultural applications due to their high light transmission and thermal properties.
- Industrial Cladding: Provides durable and lightweight cladding solutions for factories and warehouses.
- Advertising and Signage: Used for outdoor advertising boards and protective covers due to their clarity and durability.
- Architectural Applications: Employed in various architectural elements requiring a combination of aesthetic appeal and functional performance.
