PE/PP T-Grip Sheet Production Line

Plastic T-Grip sheet is made of HDPE and PP, produced by extrusion process.

Jwell PE/PP T-Grip sheet extrusion line is a specialized manufacturing setup designed to produce polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) sheets with T-grip profiles. Main Parts of Production Line:

1. Raw Material Feeding System:

  - Hopper and Feeder: The raw PE or PP material is loaded into a hopper. The feeder ensures a consistent flow of material into the extrusion line.


2. Extruder:

  - Screw and Barrel: The extruder melts the raw material and pushes it through a screw and barrel system. The screw's design is critical for ensuring a homogeneous melt.

3. T-Die:

  - The T-die shapes the melted polymer into a flat sheet. It is designed to ensure uniform thickness and width across the entire sheet.


4. Calibration and Forming System:

  - Calibration Table: This section cools and shapes the extruded sheet to the desired dimensions. Vacuum calibration tables help in maintaining the sheet's uniformity.

  - Forming Rollers: These rollers further ensure the sheet’s thickness and smoothness.


5. T-Grip Profile Forming:

  - Special rollers or molds are used to emboss the T-grip pattern onto the sheet. This provides the characteristic grip features required for specific applications.


6. Cooling System:

  - Cooling Rollers or Baths: The extruded and formed sheet is cooled to solidify the polymer. Water baths or air cooling systems are typically used.


7. Haul-Off Unit:

  - This unit pulls the sheet through the line at a consistent speed, ensuring proper tension and alignment.


8. Cutting and Stacking:

  - Cutting Unit: The sheet is cut to the required length. This can be done using rotary cutters, guillotine cutters, or other cutting mechanisms.

  - Stacking Unit: The cut sheets are then stacked and prepared for packaging.


9. Control System:

  - A centralized control system manages the entire extrusion process, ensuring synchronization between different components, maintaining process parameters, and ensuring product quality.
