1. Raw Material Feeding System:
- Hopper and Feeder: TPU pellets are loaded into a hopper. A precise feeder ensures consistent material flow into the extrusion line.
2. Extruder:
- Screw and Barrel: The extruder melts the TPU pellets, pushing them through a screw and barrel system. The design of the screw is crucial for achieving a homogeneous melt.
- Temperature Control: Precise temperature settings are critical for processing TPU, which has a narrow processing window.
3. T-Die or Slot Die:

6. Haul-Off Unit:
- This unit pulls the film through the line at a controlled speed, ensuring proper tension and alignment.
7. Corona Treatment:
- Corona treatment may be applied to the film surface to enhance its adhesion properties for subsequent printing or lamination processes.
8. Winding and Cutting:
- Winding Unit: The finished film is wound onto rolls for storage and transportation. Precision winding ensures consistent tension and alignment.
