Main Parts of Production Line:

The geocell sheet extrusion line is used to produce geocell products, which are typically used for soil stabilization, erosion control, and ground reinforcement. The main parts of Jwell geocell sheet extrusion line generally include:


1. Extruder: This is the core component where the plastic material (usually HDPE) is melted and homogenized. It consists of a hopper, barrel, screw, and heating elements.


2. Die: Attached to the extruder, the die shapes the molten plastic into a flat sheet or web. It determines the width and thickness of the sheet.


3. Calendering Unit: This unit consists of a series of rollers that cool and shape the extruded sheet to the desired thickness and surface texture.


4. Cooling System: Often includes a series of water baths, air cooling systems, or a combination of both to solidify the plastic sheet after it exits the die and calendering unit.


5. Embossing Unit: If the geocell sheet requires a specific texture or pattern, an embossing unit is used to imprint the desired design onto the sheet.


6. Pull Rollers: These rollers pull the sheet through the extrusion line at a controlled speed, ensuring uniform thickness and preventing stretching or warping.


7. Perforation and Slitting Unit: This unit perforates and slits the sheet into the required pattern and dimensions, allowing the geocell to be expanded into its final honeycomb structure.


8. Annealing Oven: In some lines, an annealing oven is used to relieve internal stresses in the sheet, improving its mechanical properties and stability.


9. Winding Unit: The finished geocell sheet is wound onto rolls for easy handling and storage. This unit ensures the sheet is wound evenly and tightly.


10. Control System: The entire extrusion line is monitored and controlled by a central control system, which includes sensors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) panels for adjusting parameters like temperature, speed, and pressure.

These components work together to produce high-quality geocell sheets efficiently and consistently.
