Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) film production line is a specialized setup for manufacturing TPU films, which are known for their excellent elasticity, transparency, and abrasion resistance. These films are used in various applications including automotive interiors, textiles, medical devices, and protective coatings. The production line typically includes a series of processes such as extrusion, cooling, stretching, and winding to produce high-quality TPU films.


Key Components and Process of Jwell TPU Film Production Line:

1. Raw Material Preparation:

  - TPU Pellets: The production begins with TPU pellets, which can be customized with additives like colorants, UV stabilizers, and plasticizers to achieve specific properties.


2. Extrusion:

  - Extruder: The TPU pellets are fed into an extruder where they are melted and homogenized. The extruder has a screw mechanism that mixes and pushes the molten TPU through a die.

  - Die: The molten TPU is extruded through a flat die to form a continuous sheet of film. The shape and design of the die are crucial for determining the thickness and width of the film.


3. Quenching and Cooling:

  - Quenching Rollers: The extruded film is rapidly cooled on quenching rollers to solidify it. This process helps to achieve the desired initial thickness and surface finish.

  - Cooling Section: Additional cooling can be provided by air or water cooling systems to ensure the film is fully solidified before further processing.


4. Stretching and Orientation:

This production line adopts high-speed extrusion calendering and casting. The product quality is excellent and controllable. The  thickness of the product is 0.01-2.0 mm, and the width is 1000-3000 mm. It is suitable for TPU film products with transparent color,  frosting, fog surface and multilayer composite.
